Frequently asked questions

How does it differ from an ordinary dispensing needle?

One needle handles ampoule aspiration (outer) and vial puncture and reconstitution (inner) in sequence. The side-hole design also reduces coring.

When is the polymer needle used?

For compounding where coring from repeated rubber-stopper punctures must be minimised.
