Inquiry guide

Inquiry Guide

Send us the items below and we reply with feasibility and a quotation within one business day, without a round of follow-up questions. The list contains only what real inquiries from catheter and stent makers actually needed.

8 items for every product

Checklist
01

Dimensions — OD · ID · wall

In mm; inch (″) or Fr is fine too. Two of the three are enough, but mark which one is the controlling dimension.

02

Tolerance

±0.03 mm is standard for most items. If a feature needs ±0.02 or ±0.025 mm, specify it for that feature only. Tighter tolerance affects yield and price.

03

Length · length tolerance

e.g. 2,000 mm (+2.54 / −0). Say whether you need cut lengths or roll supply (e.g. 50 m).

04

Material · grade · durometer

PEEK · PI · PTFE · FEP · ETFE · TPU · Pebax · nylon · PE etc. Give TPU in Shore A (e.g. 85A, or a range like 82–90A) and fluoropolymers in Shore D. Materials

05

Radiopaque filler · colour

If X-ray visibility is needed, state the filler (BaSO₄ · Bi₂O₃ · BiOCl · W) and loading (e.g. 20%); give colour as natural · black etc.

06

Quantity

Separate sample quantity (e.g. 30 pcs · 100 pcs · 50 m), whether you want an MOQ-based quote, and expected annual volume (e.g. 100K pcs).

07

Documents

TDS · MSDS come with every reply. Tell us up front if you need ISO 10993 biocompatibility, sterilisation or regulatory documents.

08

Application · clinical field

Cardiovascular · neurovascular · urology · endoscopy · GI stent etc. Knowing the application lets us propose tolerance or material first.

Additional items by product

By product
Braid and coil reinforced tubing

Braided · Coil Reinforced

Carrier count (16 · 24), pattern (1×1 · 2×2), wires per band (1 or 2), PPI, wire type and size (e.g. flat 0.001″×0.003″), braided zone (full or partial, e.g. 300 mm of 1,800 mm), inner layer (PTFE · TPU), jacket material · durometer, marker band and its thickness, kink radius limit (e.g. 10R), target Fr.

Heat shrink tubing

Heat Shrink

Expanded ID, recovered ID, expanded wall (e.g. 0.0127 mm), shrink ratio (1.3:1 · 1.5:1 · 2:1), length, quantity, and whether medical documents (MSDS · biocompatibility) are required.

PTFE · UHMWPE liners

Liners

ID, wall (inch accepted, e.g. WT 0.002″), length, etched or not, and whether to review a PFAS-free alternative (UHMWPE).

PEEK · PI tubing

PEEK · PI

Straightness requirement, colour (natural · black), cross-section (round · square · profile), small-bore ID, wall limit (e.g. PI within 0.02 mm), tolerance (PEEK standard ±0.03 mm; ±0.02 mm reviewed separately).

Fluoropolymer · extruded tubing

Fluoropolymer · Extruded

Durometer (e.g. Shore D 65 min.), radiopaque filler and loading, surface condition (no bumps or roughness), annual volume, tapered or shaped ends.

Finished devices · assemblies

Assemblies

Hub · luer 3D drawing (or ask us to match a standard part), side-hole position · size, tip shape · taper, guidewire compatibility (0.035″ · 0.038″), stiffness per segment, inspection method (pin gauge etc.).
