Hub A's depth-limiting sheath stops against the skin; hub B's wide collar presses and flattens the skin; hub C is a simple design for kit inclusion. The hub interior is optimised for minimal dead space — less residual solution, more delivered to the patient.

The very short effective length gives precise placement and easy handling. Three gauges with thin wall (TW) or extra-thin wall (ETW, 34G only). The three-facet tip lowers penetration force for quick insertion and less discomfort.

Wheal size compared with a conventional hypodermic needle

Wheal size after injection into rabbit skin was compared between a conventional hypodermic needle (10–15° insertion) and the Nextech intradermal needle (90° insertion). The solution stays in the dermis without the rash or leakage seen when lifting the skin to inject. Original figure and table on brochure page 3.

How is it different from an ordinary short needle?

The effective length is limited to 0.7–1.7 mm and the hub stops against the skin, so it enters the dermis with a perpendicular insertion — no Mantoux angle (15°) needed.

How do I choose between hubs A, B and C?

A (sheath) or C (integral) for vaccines and skin tests; B (collar) for loose skin such as the face in aesthetics. C for kit inclusion and cost priority.

When should I choose 34G ETW?

Same 34G outer diameter with a thinner wall and wider bore. Choose it for viscous solutions or to lower injection resistance. Available in 34G only.
