Biopsy Channel

The passage through which biopsy, haemostasis and foreign-body retrieval instruments travel into the body via the endoscope channel. Of all endoscope parts, this is where friction and durability are felt most directly in the hand.

An ePTFE outer layer — the expanded porous structure gives flexibility while holding the channel's shape.
Used as the instrument passagefor biopsy, haemostasis and foreign-body retrieval.
Can be supplied as an assembly together with the endoscope insertion tube.
