Flare forming
For head assembly

Both inner and outer layers are medical grade and meet biological safety evaluation requirements. Braid wire gauge and carrier count are chosen to match the stiffness you need.

Processing and application

Processing
Port flaring
For head assembly

The end is flared smoothly so head components drop straight in. Flare length and angle follow your drawing.

Braid
Stainless steel

Resists kinking and carries push force all the way to the tip. Changing wire gauge lets stiffness vary segment by segment.

Application
Gastroenterology · respiratory · urology

Gastroscopes and colonoscopes, bronchoscopes, ureteroscopes and hysteroscopes. We have shipped single-use endoscope insertion tubes.

Frequently asked

FAQ
Can it be multi-lumen?

Yes. We extrude multi-lumen builds separating instrument, air/water and suction channels. Send a cross-section drawing.

Can durometer vary along the length?

Yes. Jacket material and braid density are divided by segment so the distal section can be designed softer.

How do I choose the liner material?

PTFE where friction matters, PA12 or PEBAX where bonding and processing matter, PVDF where chemical resistance is needed.

Can I order just the biopsy channel?

Yes. We also supply the channel tube on its own.
