FEP Heat Shrink Tube

FEP heat shrink tubing is a high-performance heat shrink material made of fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP). It has good physical and chemical properties and is widely used across many fields — notably for jacketing braided and reinforced tubing, where it conducts heat and shrinks the inner layer.

Application

Applications

Commonly used on braided or reinforced tubing: the outer plastic layer, the reinforcement and the PTFE inner liner are bonded into one composite tube by heat fusion and shrinkage. The same method applies to catheter shafts, adhesive joints, laparoscope insulation and battery pack encapsulation, providing insulation protection and contamination prevention.
